Mark Tomlinson brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his practice, making him a highly sought-after physiotherapist. Graduating from La Trobe University in 1990, he has since built a distinguished 35-year career in both the United Kingdom and Australia. He furthered his education with a Post Graduate Diploma in Manipulative Physiotherapy in 1995, earning him the title of an APA Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist.

His professional credentials include memberships with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP), the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APAM), and the Australian College of Physiotherapists (MACP).

Mark’s extensive experience with elite athletes is a hallmark of his career. He has served on the medical teams for major international events, including the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games and the Athlete Village Polyclinic at both the 2006 Melbourne and 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. He also has a strong background in team sports, having worked as an Associate Physiotherapist for the Melbourne FC (AFL) and as a Senior Physiotherapist for numerous VAFA clubs and representative teams, including Peninsula Old Boys and Old Melburnians Football Clubs.

In his clinical practice, Mark is a specialist in addressing complex musculoskeletal issues. He is a qualified Watson Headache Approach Practitioner, a skill he has used to achieve significant reductions in the severity of headaches and migraines in many sufferers. He is also a certified Dry Needling Practitioner, offering a diverse range of effective treatments. His special interests are broad, encompassing sporting injuries, particularly in Track & Field Athletics, Swimming, Football, and Cricket, as well as complex spinal problems, acute and chronic back and neck pain, headaches, and Temperomandibular (Jaw) Dysfunction.
