Wendy graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Stellenbosch and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She has over 13 years of clinical physiotherapy experience across private practice, hospital and community settings, both in South Africa and the UK.

Her clinical experience includes musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, paediatric and geriatric rehabilitation, with a particular interest in helping people with complex and long-term conditions achieve greater independence and quality of life. Wendy has worked with clients following stroke, brain injury and orthopaedic surgery, as well as people living with Parkinson’s disease, cerebral palsy, ALS and chronic respiratory conditions.

Wendy has a strong background in community and domiciliary physiotherapy, where treatment is focused on the individual’s real-life goals and the practical challenges they face at home and in their everyday environment. She enjoys working collaboratively with patients, families and other healthcare professionals to develop achievable, meaningful rehabilitation programmes..

Wendy believes that effective physiotherapy should be personalised, practical and goal-focused. Her approach is to understand what matters most to each individual and then use evidence-informed rehabilitation to help them make meaningful progress, whether that means returning to sport, managing a long-term condition or becoming more independent in everyday life.
Outside of work, Wendy enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, adventurous travel, working with horses and staying active.

Wendy’s best advice to patients is: “Small, consistent steps can lead to meaningful change. Be patient with yourself, keep your eyes on the goal and celebrate every win along the way.”
